  46. A: 1. Send cash by mail in your own currency (no coins) for a value of $5 USD. 
  47.    Also include your own email adress so that I'll know where to send the 
  48.    registration code. When I recieve your payment , you will recieve (only by
  49.    email) your registration password.

  58. Q: What is the icons limit?
  59. A: The Start button size has to be 10x10, 12x12, 14x14, 16x16, 22x22 or 32x32
  60.    with 16 colors. By default, Windows 95 uses 16x16 icon. You can change this
  61.    by resizing active title bar (click right mouse button on desktop, select
  62.    properties/appearence).

  64. Q: What does Start Menu Changer modify and how to remove changing?
  65. A: Start Menu Changer modifies Explorer.exe and User.exe files. 
  66.    Backup files are stored as Explorer.sav in your Windows directory and 
  67.    User.sav in your Windows system directory. It also modifies registry. 
  68.    To restore your original files press button Restore. 
  69.    To enable your changes you have to restart your Windows 95.

  71. Q: I have trouble with starting Windows 95.
  72. A: If you have problems with starting Windows 95 or restoring your orgiginal
  73.    settings, boot into command line and copy these *.sav files to *.exe files.
  74.    If you still have problems then extract Explorer.exe and User.exe from your 
  75.    Windows 95 installation. 
  76.    ( For example:  EXTRACT /A /L C:\TEMP WIN95_02.CAB EXPLORER.EXE 
  77.    USER.EXE )

  79. Q: How can I change start menu vertical logo?
  80. A: First of all, you have to create bitmap file (21x130 with 16 colors). Run
  81.    Windows Paint, choose size 21x130, draw what you like and then save 
  82.    picture as 16 colors bitmap file. Then you can run Start Menu Changer 
  83.    and there press 'Load logo' button to load picture. Anyway, after 
  84.    rebooting your vertical logo size will be small. To correct this problem 
  85.    you have  to compress your picture file in RLE compression. Windows Paint 
  86.    doesn't support RLE compression, so choose another graphic editor, 
  87.    for example, Paint Shop Pro ( http://www.jasc.com/psp.html ). The best 
  88.    program that compress BMP I've seen is Borland Resource Workshop.

  90. Q: My vertical logo is cuted and after it are some incorrect colors.
  91. A: To correct colors run Start Menu Changer and there decrease logo height. 
  92.    Anyway, there always will be cuted logo because Start Menu Changer rewrites 
  93.    exisitng logo in Explorer.exe file with existing size.

  95. Q: How can I create my own Theme Pack?
  96. A: First of all, see Sample Theme Pack. Index.smc is ini-type file so you can
  97.    easly modify it in Windows Notepad. If any ICON or BMP file (or sections in 
  98.    index.smc) isn't included in your theme then this picture (or options) will 
  99.    not be changed in Windows.

  101. NOTE: Unchecked Run, Find, Settings and Shutdown will not appear in 
  102.       Explorer at all until you'll again check them in Start Menu Changer'97. 
  103.       This happens because Start Menu Changer'97 also modifies registry.
  104.  
  105. KNOWN BUGS: -> In Russian version is not removing Run from start menu 
  106.             (Microsoft's bug).
  107.             -> Doesn't determine PE version because Explorer.exe file is the 
  108.             same as in US version, anyway, check PE version if you are using it.
  109.             -> Dosn't support IE 4.0 shell integration. 'Read beyond end of 
  110.             file' message occurs.
